The Helion Project

As humans filled their home world, Earth’s progress bent toward a single goal: locating habitable exoplanets and preparing them for human migration. The Helion Project built solo capsules around a new FTL engine and began sending out the genetically engineered, human-like creatures its scientists designed to be the ultimate off-world settlers — in the hope that these unimaginatively named “Settlers” would raise new civilizations across an ever-expanding list of worlds.
